1. How to make a Poké Ball?


You'll need Poké Balls. All of which require a lid, bases, and buttons. To make lids, 3 cooked Apricorns in a row. An example is 3 red Apricorns in a row, which make basic Poké Balls lids. Next, the two types of bases are iron and aluminum, so 3 in a row, just like for the lids. Finally, a simple stone button from vanilla Minecaft. Combine the lid, button, and base from top to bottom in a crafting table to make a Poké Ball!


 

2. How do you catch a Pokémon?


You can catch Pokémon inside and outside of battle. Inside of battle requires throwing your Pokémon by pressing R, then throwing a Poké Ball from your bag. It is better to damage and status effect a Pokémon before trying to catch it. Outside of battle is much simpler, with simply right clicking while a Poké Ball is in your hand at the Pokémon. Sometimes, the Poké Ball can break, but can simply be put back together again.


 

3. How do you view your Pokémon's stats, moves, and summary information?


You can do this by opening your inventory, right clicking a Pokémon in the menu on the left, and you can select one of the three options from there.
 

 

4. How do you make and use a PC?


A PC is the Pokémon storage system. A PC is crafted with 6 aluminum ingots, with two columns on the left and right side of the crafting table. Next, a glass pane in the middle of the top row, Redstone lamp is the middle of the second row, and a Redstone in the middle of the bottom row. One crafted and placed, it can be opened by right clicking. 
 

 

5. How do you heal your Pokémon? 


A healer allows you to heal your hurt or fainted Pokémon. It can be crafted with 4 aluminum ingots in the 4 corners of the crafting table, a diamond in the very middle, any dye in the middle of the bottom row, and 3 iron ingots in the remaining places. Once crafted and placed, simply right click to heal your Pokémon. Be careful though, once placed, it cannot be picked up unless with silk touch. 

 

6. How do you unlock and equip a Mega/Dynamax band and Z-Ring?

 

In Pixelmon,  you can unlock it by defeating a mega boss of any type. Once unlocked, they can be equipped or de-equipped by the little menu next to your Pokémon, which is opened with the little arrow. On Journey Gaming, the Mega band can also be bought in the /tokenshop for 150 tokens, and the Dynamax band for 200 tokens.
 

7. How do you fly on a Pokémon?

 

In Pixelmon, certain Pokémon, like Charizard or Giratina, have the ability to be ridden or flown on. First throw out a Pokémon with R, and right click the Pokémon. Once mounted on the Pokémon, you can use the space bar to fly up into the sky! Once in the air, your Pokémon will continue flying in the direction of the pointer. To descend, you'll need to select a key to be the descent button by pressing escape, then options, then control, then scrolling down to the second Pixelmon option “Descend”. Setting this key and holding it will descend you from the Sky. Once safely on the ground, you can then press LShift to dismount. 

 

8. How do you revive fossils?

 

Just like in the games, some Pokémon, like Kabuto or Tyrunt, can be revived. First, you'll have a covered fossil. This can be cleaned with a Fossil Cleaner - simply right click the cleaner with the covered fossil in hand. Once the cleaner stops spinning, you can right click again to retrieve it. Once finished, it can be revived with a Fossil Machine and any Poke Ball. Simply right click the Machine with the cleaned fossil to insert it, then with any Poke Ball. Once the percentage reaches 100%, you can right click to retrieve it. The generation 8 fossil Pokémon require two fossils. For Dracozolt, you need the Bird and Drake fossils. For Dracovish, you need the Fish and Drake fossils. For Arctozolt, you need the Bird and Dino fossils. and finally, for Arctovish, you need the Fish and Dino fossils. On our server Journey Gaming, you can use /Warp Fossil or /Warp Museum to safely clean and revive your fossils!

 

9. How do you use orbs?

 

In Pixelmon, you're able to summon the legendary trio of birds: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. In order to do so, you need an orb, a Fire, Ice, or Thunder stone, as well as a Fiery, Frozen, or Static Shrine. First, combine an orb with your stone of choice. Then, defeat 375 Pokémon. Once done, place the orb into the correct shrine. Be careful though, this Pokémon immediately spawns and initiates battle, so be sure to have a Master Ball!
