    What Are Pokemon?

    Pokemon are creatures of all different shapes and sizes which live in the wild. They are raised, and commanded by their Trainer. During your adventure, your Pokemon may evolve, and grow stronger.

    Each Pokemon has a gender.

    MALE None FEMALE

    Some Pokemon have better chances of being a Male, compared to being a Female. For example:

    Infernape has an 87% chance of being Male.
    However... there are a few exceptions! These include Ditto, Legendaries, and Porygon!

    Breeding.

    In order to breed, the two Pokemon must suit these two requirements.

    1. One must be a female, and one must a male.
    2. They must be in the same egg group. (use /egggroup [Pokemon] to find this out.

    Once you place both Pokemon in a ranch block, you must create an environment which makes both Pokemon feel comfortable. Each type, has a different blocks. Some blocks are more effective than others. The more points from each, block the more efficient the breeding process will be.

    Ditto is one exception, he can breed with any Pokemon with a gender, or another Ditto. If you breed a Ditto, with a Ditto, you will get a random Pokemon in the egg. (this excludes legendaries.)

    Stats

    Every Pokemon has different stats. This includes;

    • EV
    EVs stand for Effort Values. Whenever a Pokemon is defeated, the Pokemon's stats may increase. Some Pokemon offer more effort points in certain stats that others. To check a Pokemon's evs. Do /evs (slot)

    • IVs
    IVs stand for Individual Values. It's a bit like a gene, it is passed through to eggs if that Pokemon is being bred. These ivs cannot be changed, and will effect the Pokemon's stats. To check a Pokemon's IVs, do /ivs (slot)

    • Nature
    There are 25 different natures. Each one increases, and decreases a stat by 10%. To check a Pokemon's nature, press E to go into your inventory. Right click the Pokemon that you are looking at. Press Summary.

    The higher your Pokemon's stats are, the better it will do in battle. For example, if my Pokemon has a very high Attack, it will do a lot of damage when using physical attacks. If this same Pokemon has a very low special attack, it's special attacking moves will not do as much damage.

    Shiny Pokemon

    Evolution

    Many Pokemon are able to evolve. The process of evolution, is where Pokemon change, and look different, and have an increase in stats. Pokemon can evolve via the following ways;

    • Level.
    • When the Pokemon reaches a certain friendship level.
    • Trading
    • Stones
    • When a Pokemon knows a certain move.
    • When a Pokemon levels up in a certain location.
    • When a Pokemon levels up whilst holding a certain item.
    • At certain times.
    • If the Pokemon is a certain gender.

    I may not have included absolutely everything you must know to play Pokemon, so if there are any important things missing, feel free to shoot a quick comment :)
